Utrecht Eliminates Books From School Store

Beginning in the fall semester, Utrecht will no longer supply textbooks and course packets for SAIC. This task will be taken up by the college division of Barnes & Noble Booksellers. A new store is under construction at DePaul's downtown campus, located at Jackson and State, and is scheduled to open on June 1.

Tara Donovan's installations are of this world, but are far from ordinary. Most of her assemblages are made from the fringes of cubical desk organizers or Chevy toolboxes: pencils, styrofoam coffee cups, stick pins, toothpicks, fishing wire, shattered glass, roofing felt, and electrical wire.

New hang-out for students across the street?

SAIC has been contacted by Institutional Project Management, LLC (IPM), and asked if students might be interested in a student center that would be shared by a number of other schools. More than 460 SAIC students participated in an online survey.
