Munch ado

Munch's paintings keep getting stolen. Thieves stole three more Munch works from a Norway hotel this past month.

On some gorgeous remote Caribbean island there must be a very, very rich man sitting on a velvet chaise lounge, being fed grapes by beautiful scantily clad woman, while assessing the walls that showcase his ever-growing collection of works by Edward Munch. Munch’s paintings keep getting stolen. Thieves stole three more Munch works from a Norway hotel this past month. The watercolor Blue Dress, and two lithographs: a self-portrait and a portrait of Swedish playwright and novelist August Strindberg. This past August 22, thieves stole a version of The Scream and Madonna from Oslo’s Munch Museum. An investigation is underway; I hope they find this criminal hiding out with his precious, stolen Munchs.
