2nd Floor Rear in 3rd Year

The 24-hour festival returns with the greatest number of proposals yet.

This weekend is the third edition of 2nd Floor Rear, and it received the greatest number of proposals yet. The 24-hour festival of art takes place in alternative spaces and experimental contexts around the blue line, with a concentration of works in Logan Square.  Katie Wadell started the festival while still a grad student in the MAAH/MAAP program in 2012 and has continued to feature many current SAIC students and recent grads.

A thorough map and schedule can be found here.

Participating venues, many of which are private apartments will be identified by these banners.
