Before graduating, I was lamenting loosing my access to the Art Institute’s Museum. But good news came in the mail yesterday- SAIC is providing all its graduates with a free year of membership! This means not only all the art you can handle, but invitations to special events and previews, and best of all, access to the member’s lounge. Here you can sip complementary coffee and tea while relaxing by the tranquil fountain in the interior courtyard of the museum, or kick back on a comfy couch and thumb through an exhibition catalog. I went today, and I’ll probably go again tomorrow, seriously, this place is great. To all my fellow recent graduates: see you there!
