The title of the comic, “Where to Go When You’ve Gotta Go” is drawn on top of toilet paper, the word “Go” in a yellow pee-like font. Next to the title is a toilet with two small characters inside of it. The toilet reads, “School of the Art Institute has many weird and zany bathrooms… so why are we qualified to review them?” An arrow points to the character Sid who has pink hair and overalls, reading, “Disabled and chronically ill. Knows that a good bathroom is truly one’s greatest friend.” An arrow points to the character Teddie that says “Has experienced the range of SAIC’s bathrooms across the gender spectrum.”

Each review is captioned with the location of the bathroom, an illustration, and a caption.

MaLean, 5th-10th Floors. An illustration shows Teddie in a bathroom, covering their nose because of the smell. There are a variety of ghosts in the bathroom and a loud humming noise. The review reads, “There is a found family of ghosts haunting these five floors of bathrooms regardless of gender. No bathrooms at our school smell weirder or have an AC system this loud that works this poorly.”

MacLean, 4th Floors A beautiful neon sign reads “go piss girl” in cursive with a neon sign toilet next to the text. The review reads, “Feel like a classy, invincible boss as you sit in a shockingly clean, modern, and un-offensive bathroom. When you go back to class, just know you are better than all the students who just piss in the haunted 5th to 1oth floor MacLean bathrooms.

280, All Floors A person with a triangle for a head stares at themselves in the bathroom mirror. Triangles float around them. The review reads, “Expect the unexpected: Lights turning off, stalls being closed, sinks not working, lack of toilet paper, and, of course, triangles. By the time you leave these bathrooms, all you will know is triangle.”

Sharp, 2nd Floor Teddie walks out of the bathroom, a look of catharsis on their face as they wipe away a single tear. The line waiting to go to the bathroom has several sad and distressed students. The review reads, “Wait in a line of tearful students for Sharp’s gender neutral bathroom, the go-to destination for a post-crit cry. Bad crit? Good crit? Unbelievable crit? Go cry. Nothing feels better than the relief of the cry.”

Lakeview, 8th Floor Sid stands in the bathroom, shocked, holding a handle from the sink in their hands. The review reads, “A collection of perfectly middle-of-the-road restrooms… Except for the sink handles that randomly come off.”
