Transcript

Panel One: A dog stands on a podium, looking out at a crowd of other animals. The dog stands behind a podium with a big microphone. He addresses the crowd, “OK — so — I don’t think you can all hear me. Should I take my mask off?” Yello, a mouse in the crowd, responds, “No?”

Panel Two: The dog, oblivious to any pushback, continues, saying, “Yeah, I think maskless would be smartest.” A few voices in the crowd push back, shouting “HELL NO” “NO” and “nah.”

Panel Three: The dog joyfully takes his mask off, throwing it out of the panel. He says, “I’m glad you all agree.” By this point, the crowd is riled up, screaming “No” over and over in big pink and black text. The frenzy is not heard by the dog.

Panel Four: Kat, one of the members of the crowd, turns to Yello. The two are clearly frustrated. Kat whispers, “Why even ask?”
