Iranian Cleric Hojatoleslam Ali Beheshti was on his way to the mosque when he encountered a woman who wasn’t properly covered, according to him. After telling her to cover up, she replied “you, cover your eyes” and continued to beat the shit out of him (see pictures).
I know the guy looks pretty bad. But I find this story kind of amusing, especially considering that one of the social reasons for war in Afghanistan and Iraq was their treatment of women. Thoughts?
