José Benítez, the mayor of Huarmey, is blaming the Peruvian town’s water supply for turning its male population gay.
Benítez believes that the presence of strontium in the water “reduces male hormones” like it did in Tabalosos, where a television program claimed that the town’s population is predominately homosexual.
