Sex, Power and Labor was a curated show by Shirin Mozaffari and Oli Rodriguez at the Co-Prosperity Sphere. Falling on the 9th anniversary of September 11th, the show was devised as, “an interdisciplinary conversation addressing systematic institutional oppressions of ‘other’. In addressing the ‘other’ through the queering of pieces, the art works re-evaluate race, gender, class and systems of powerthat oppress.” The show included many different artists from various disciplines (performance, new-media, painting, sculpture, etc.). The following video is a performance by Ryan T. Dunn as Instinct Control.
