William Kentridge: Anything is Possible

Kentridge

by Brandon Kosters

I just got the press screener for William Kentridge: Anything is Possible, produced by the Art21 folks. This is the first Art21 film that focuses exclusively on one artist. It will premiere on PBS on October 21, 10 pm EST.

The documentary covers Kentridge’s artistic practice, which encompasses sculpture, animation, performance… We get an intimate look into his production of the Shostakovich opera The Nose.

Be on the look-out for my full review of the documentary. If all goes according to plan, I might get to exchange a few words with Kentridge also.
