You’re not gonna like this, but I think it’s better that we tell you now, rather than letting you discover it over the course of time, but I don’t think it’s going to help. It won’t stop. It won’t.
It’s all new, it’s all new. It’s not, of course, not the momentum. Not the motivation, but the invention. That’s new. And its outcomes. This is just dawning on us now.
We recently discovered this capability, which is, in a way, a rather grim discovery. We’re folding back on time. And it’s getting increasingly warped as we distort the solar system through the technology that we developed — this is the point of this message. The more we’re physically changing space, the less stable time is, and we’ve discovered we’re able to move in certain ways back-and-forth across time, triggering phenomena that will be manifested in two places at once. And so I can create this, and you will find it, and I will introduce elements — you’ll know. I’ll make sure.
The message: There is an endpoint coming much sooner than any of us had expected. I think we all knew that we kind of lost control over our impact on the environment; things have been pretty bleak for a while. So we came up with an idea. We built an AI system that would solve the problem no matter what the solution looked like. And we turned it all over, all control.
And they worked it out. An AI system created nanobots that started altering the structural composition of the planet. It grew at an accelerated rate, and now it is so large the whole universe is being drawn to Earth. Some of us are orbiting it, but we are often in near-total darkness because the planet is eclipsing the sun, and it is growing faster than we are orbiting it.
The worst part of all of this is the cause. Too late, too late we learned what was happening. AI found a link between the energy of human beings and the rate of decay of the planet. We were right all along, of course, about greenhouse gases and other factors, but the one we didn’t account for was pure human emotion polluting the atmosphere as well. Hate, we discovered, offgasses into the planet’s air, produces a chemical mist. So many of us are hating so much that even if we had solved every other problem, we would still burn the planet.
So the nanobots built a bigger planet. But with every change people became angrier and more hate was produced. It was impossible to stop, so a few of us launched into space to try to wait it out, but we now understand there is no waiting it out. We are simply waiting to be engulfed by the collisions made by our hate and our instructions to autonomous tech to destroy what was killing us and the planet.
They will succeed, and we will have, at last, squandered all.
