Panel 2: A close up of the bird flying. Most of the panel is filled with his speech bubble. He explains, “I just worry I’ve made the wrong decisions in life. Would I have been happier if I migrated this year? Would I be more successful if I’d gone to college like you? Or is this the best version of me? How do you know that the you you are is the right one to be ? Is it all just pointless?”
Panel 3: Same shot as Panel 1, but now the bird is sitting in the foreground on the right hand side. Both Luma and the bird have turned into rocks. Rock Luma has googly eyes. Luma asks him, “You watched “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once” again, didn’t you?” The bird says, “…Maybe.” And then Luma asks, “Is that why we’re rocks?” To which the bird tells her, “Yes…”
