This Saturday and Sunday only, the Geolofts at 3636 S. Iron Street will host the first MDW (pronounced like Midway, you know like the airport) Fair. The fair is organized by threewalls, Roots and Culture, and Public Media Institute, and will be a huge smorgasbord of independent arts initiatives, spaces, galleries and artists groups from the Chicago metro area.
More than 60 participants will be spread out over 25,000 square feet of exhibition space, as well as an 8,000 square foot sculpture garden on the bottom floor. If that sounds like a lot of space, it is—which means you can spend a good part of your day there.
Fair Admission: $5
Hours: April 23: 1pm to 10pm / April 24: 1pm to 6pm
