We see a cat sitting on a bathroom counter looking at itself in the mirror.
The cat has internal dialogue, it says:
“I wonder if there’s any food in my bowl…”
The (same) cat in the mirror says,
“Was I too evil to be fed?”
Panel 2:
The cat is now standing up and walking across the counter and over the sink.
It says,
“Maybe my bowl won’t be full today.”
The cat in the mirror says,
“Maybe I’m finally unlovable.”
Panel 3:
The cat is now in a position where it’s about to jump off the bathroom counter, facing us.
It says,
“I need to check my food bowl.”
The cat in the mirror says,
“I need to see that I’m loved.”
