On Feb.28, the people of Chicago will cast their ballots to elect the mayor of the city.
Nine candidates are contesting for the mayoral position. If none of these candidates wins 50 percent of the votes, a run-off is scheduled for the top two vote-getters on Apr. 4. Before we know who wins and becomes the city’s mayor, we asked students at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) to know their thoughts about elections and the issues they think the upcoming mayor should focus on.
