Ordinarily, fashion students at SAIC can gain access to garments in the Fashion Resource Center. After minor check-in procedures, they are able to see, touch and feel the thick stitching on a top made of cowhide leather by Kawakubo, or the construction of an irregularly underwired skirt by Yamamoto.
