Panel 1. A full page splash page of Karl Ritchie laying on their bed, smoking a joint and playing guitar. He’s listening to a record on a turntable at the foot of his bed. A landline phone is open on a chair next to their bed with Bébé Davenport on the line.

SONG: “Over and over, again and again, you know I’m so glad to call you a friend. We’ll dance together until the night ends. Over and over, again and again.”

Page Two

Panel 1. Karl lays on their stomach, feet kicked up behind him, talking to Bébé on the phone.

KARL: “What’d you think of that groove?”

BÉBÉ (phone): “That’s cool, man, find anything else like that?”

Panel 2. Karl flips through his record collection, talking into the phone.

KARL: “Let’s see!”

Panel 3. Karl takes out a record, talking into the phone pressed between their ear and shoulder.

BÉBÉ (phone): “You coming to the party?”

KARL: “Oh, yes! You too?”

Panel 4. Karl places the needle on the record while on the phone, imagining having fun dancing with their friends.

BÉBÉ: (phone): Yeah, I wouldn’t miss it!”

KARL: “We’re gonna dance, right?”

BÉBÉ (phone): “Dude, of course!”

Panel 5. Karl and Bébé dance to Karl’s record.

SONG: “War and struggle, we dance for peace. This body is mine, I will be free.”

SONG (cont.): “I love my brother, we dance for peace. Forever and ever, I will be free.”
