In recognition of the unique political moment we find ourselves in, we, the undersigned SAIC faculty, write to affirm our commitment to you, our students and partners in the creative arts, and to the entire SAIC community, including all staff, administrators, and alumni. As artists, designers, scholars, and writers, our job is to explore the complexities of our world and reimagine them creatively, critically, and collectively. To work together as a community. We are stimulated by each other’s collaborations, considered perspectives, and impassioned opinions. We grow by listening to ideas that are different from our own and recognize the vital role that design, scholarship, art, and writing play in addressing our collective challenges.
