Islamic Art at the Art Institute: A Century of Exhibitions and Acquisitions

A video exploration of a recent Art Institute show of Islamic Art.

On July 19, an exhibition titled “Islamic Art at the Art Institute: A Century of Exhibitions and Acquisitions
” opened in Ryerson and Burnham Libraries reading room of the Art Institute of Chicago. The exhibition was curated by Master of Arts Administration and Policy candidate, Kimia Maleki with the support of her supervisor Bart Ryckbosch. Kimia took us to this exhibition and talked about her experience of accomplishing this project . The exhibition was visited by hundred visitors over the two month of display.
