Page 1: “A long night” starts with a girl during her solitary horror movie night (as the background shows the horrified scream from the film). As she prepares to eat the popcorn, she suddenly feels a chill while staring at the food in her hand, and she gulps due to the discomfort it causes her, fearing that she might choke on it.
Page 2: On the next page, the girl goes to the bathroom and flicks the lights on. When she is passing the sink and looking at the mirror, she sees a long crack on top of the mirror, and the almost-overflow sink with the outlet next to it.
Page 3: The girl immediately imagines several scenarios that could cause serious damage to her: (top right) the mirror cracks up, (left side) the sink overflows, and (bottom right) water gets into the outlet and it starts electrifying. She is so terrified of the idea that she has to quickly turn off the lights and get out of the bathroom. Then, she aggressively opens her bedroom door and runs to the bed. On the way, she carelessly trips over a book on the floor, but luckily she does not fall for it.
Page 4: However, her arm bangs into the cabinet, which causes the girl great pain (and she hisses at it). The next few panels show how she is rushing to her bed as the pants are going down until she is completely calmed a little bit. When she turns her attention to the electric clock, it is 12a.m. already.
Page 5: After making sure that everything is alright for now, the girl slowly falls into her sleep. However, she does not know that she is being watched by a ripper through the window. Eventually, the ripper leaves with a statement: “It has been a long night.”
