Transcript

Panel One: Narrator with glasses listening to music in a dim setting. Japanese lyrics break out of the panel and over her head. There are two cat-like creatures next to the panel on the right side. 

Panel Two: Lyrics from panel one are cut off by a big sound effect going “FVOOM”. The narrator is standing on a train platform while the train rushes in front of her.  A caption reads, “She stood way too far back on the train platform.”

Panel Three: A long diagonal strip separated into three scenes with choppy lines. The first scene is seen from the perspective of the narrator with a notebook and a scarf on the desk in front of her. There is another person sitting in the row in front. Another person is seen in front of all the desk rows. The second scene includes the narrator holding a fry with a paper dish of fried chicken and fries in front of her. She has a troubled expression. The third scene includes a profile shot of the narrator with her hand supporting her head. She is looking at the sketchbook in front of her. The two cat-like creatures are seen running after each other underneath the three scenes.

Panel Four: The narrator opens a door to a dark setting and says, “I’m back, smelly.” There is a cat on her right. 

Panel Five: The narrator climbs into bed and is under a blanket. She is looking at her phone as a single line of musical score flows out of her earpiece into the surrounding environment.
