F invites anyone who has writing, editorial, design, illustration or photo skills to work with us as volunteer, freelancer, or staffer (some pay per contribution published).
Also, there are three ways of working with F for credit.
1) Designers can get 3 studio credits designing F, working with an award-winning staff and award-winning Tribune art director Michael Miner. Knowledge of photoshop required; portfolio review.
2) Work on F's on-line edition by registering for UGDIV 3015 E-Journal Design (Tues-Th 6-9 pm). Learn web design. No prerequisites, but photoshop or writing/editing skills a plus.
3) Develop writing and editing skills in LibEng1004 Writing for the School Newspaper (Tuesdays 9-12). Writing assignments are possible contributions to the newspaper.

Requirements: familiarity with art scene a must.

Job description: Manage office and advertising sales for F Newsmagazine. Applicant must have good communication skills, good telephone and letter-writing
skills. Must be well-organized. Familiarity with Word and Excel a plus. especially for graduate students or undergrad with office or sales experience
Hours: 15-20 hrs/week
Pay: $10/hr.
