Artist Statement by Yoonah Nam

Since I came to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I was challenged to observe myself. When I struggled to create good work to satisfy myself, those processes often brought out feelings of depression and self-obsession. During that procedure, I took a psychodynamic psychology class, and it allowed me to consider myself to using theory. This experience gave me a different perspective which address through this puppet animation.
