The winners of the 18th annual Nippon Steel USA/SAIC Art Appreciation Program Presidential Award Exhibitions were recognized at a reception on March 17, 2011. Out of 107 applicants, 20 students have been selected to exhibit their works in two shows at the Nippon Steel U.S.A. Chicago office gallery. Exhibition participants received an honorarium award of $100 applied toward tuition for each accepted piece. This year’s pamphlet was designed by Akemi Hong, MFA 2011. The current show runs through November 8.
The Nippon Steel office gallery is located at 900 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 1820, and open to the public by appointment at 312-335-5242.
